- Hand wash or delicate cycle: To protect the delicate "sheer" outer layer and soft fleece interior, hand washing is the safest method. If using a machine, turn the leggings inside out, place them in a mesh laundry bag, and select a cold, delicate cycle.
- Use mild detergent: Harsh chemicals can degrade the stretch and fade the skin-tone color. Always use a mild detergent and strictly avoid fabric softeners and bleach, as these can damage the shaping elasticity and the fleece's warming properties.
- Air dry only: Heat is the enemy of shapewear. Never put these leggings in the dryer. Instead, lay them flat or hang them to air dry away from direct heat sources. Avoid direct sunlight, which can cause the distinctive skin-tone shades to fade or yellow.
- Store carefully: To maintain the high-compression waistband and prevent snagging, fold them neatly in a drawer. Avoid hanging them by the waistband for long periods, as the weight of the fleece can cause the elastic to stretch out of shape.
- Replace when necessary: These leggings are engineered to sculpt and contour. While durable, the compression fabric may eventually relax with frequent wear.
